Norwegian technology company Cyviz AS (CYVIZ-ME.OL) Thursday said that it has signed a $900,000 or around 9.0 million Norwegian Kroner contract with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation or ONGC, an Indian crude oil and natural gas company.
According to Cyviz, the agreement covers the development of ONGC's Real-Time Drilling Operations Center at the Institute of Drilling Technology or IDT at the company's headquarters in Dehradun. The company added that the project is an important step forward for Cyviz to make its presence felt in the Indian oil and gas sector.
Cyviz said that as part of the deal, it will design and implement a state-of-the-art command and control environment to support ONGC's real-time drilling operations across its assets.
