Cocrystal Pharma Stock Gains 14% On Direct Offering Announcement

Cocrystal Pharma, Inc. (COCP) shares rose 14.23 percent to $1.64 on Friday, adding $0.20, after the company announced it had entered into definitive agreements for a registered direct offering of 2.76 million shares at $1.70 per share, along with a concurrent private placement of unregistered warrants to purchase up to 5.53 million shares at $1.50 per share.

The stock opened at $2.45 and traded between $1.54 and $2.67, compared with a prior close of $1.44 on the Nasdaq.

Trading volume surged to 79.3 million shares, slightly above the average of 76,645. Cocrystal Pharma now trades within a 52-week range of $1.12 to $3.26.

The closing is expected on or about September 15, 2025.
