German cloud communications company NFON AG (NFN.DE) Wednesday said that it has made some important changes to its core management team. The company said that Andreas Wesselmann will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer or CEO, effective October 1, while Alexander Beck will join the company as Chief Financial Officer or CFO.
According to the company, these changes came into place following the early termination of former CEO Patrik Heider's contract, as he leaves NFON AG to work on new opportunities.
NFON AG said that having previously worked as Chief Technology Officer or CTO, Wesselmann will now take on the added responsibilities of the company's sales and marketing divisions. His contract has been extended through 2030.
The company said that the incoming CFO, Alexander Beck, has extensive financial and managerial expertise from across multiple industries, thus positioning NFON for future growth.
