Pets At Home CEO Lyssa McGowan Departs With Immediate Effect; Annual Profit Outlook Lowered

Pets at Home Group Plc (PETS.L), a UK-based company that sells pet products and provides veterinary and pet care services, said Thursday that Chief Executive Officer Lyssa McGowan is leaving the company with immediate effect. Non-executive chair Ian Burke will assume the role of executive chair until a permanent replacement is appointed.

Additionally, Pets at Home has cut its full-year profit outlook, citing a subdued pet retail market. It currently sees underlying profit before tax in the range of 90 million pounds - 100 million pounds for the year, down from 115 million pounds - 125 million pounds guided earlier.
