CBAK Energy Plans Redomicile Merger With Wholly Owned Cayman Subsidiary

CBAK Energy Technology, Inc. (CBAT), a Nevada corporation, announced Wednesday that it has entered into a merger agreement with its wholly owned subsidiary, CBAK Energy Technology Limited, incorporated in the Cayman Islands (CBAT Cayman).

Under the agreement, CBAK Energy will merge into CBAT Cayman, which will remain as the surviving entity following the redomicile merger. After the merger, CBAT Cayman and its subsidiaries will continue to operate the business largely as it is conducted today.

Upon completion of the merger, each CBAK Energy share will be exchanged for one share of CBAT Cayman.
