Agile Group Holdings H1 Net Loss Narrows Despite Weak Revenues

Agile Group Holdings Ltd. (AGPYY,3383.HK), a Chinese property developer, Monday reported decreased net loss in its first half compared to last year due to reduced cost of sales, even though revenues were lower.

The net loss attributable to shareholders of the company was RMB 8.03 billion, lower than loss of RMB 9.67 billion last year.

Loss per share reduced to RMB 1.591 from a loss of RMB 1.917 a year ago.

Gross loss narrowed to RMB0.92 billion from RMB1.87 billion last year.

The company's cost of sales declined to RMB 14.50 billion from RMB 23.01 billion for the comparable period.

Agile Group's revenue came down to RMB 13.57 billion from RMB 21.14 billion in the prior year.

On the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the stock closed at HK$0.405.
