A.G. BARR p.l.c. reported that its first half profit before tax increased to 35.2 million pounds from 24.9 million pounds, prior year. Earnings per share was 24.61 pence compared to 16.72 pence. Adjusted profit before tax increased to 35.2 million pounds from 29.3 million pounds. Adjusted basic EPS was 24.90 pence compared to 19.86 pence. For the six months ended 26 July 2025, revenue increased by 3.1% to 228.1 million pounds.
Euan Sutherland, CEO, said: "Our expectations for the full year 2025/26 are unchanged, and we remain confident in our strategy and ability to deliver sustainable, profitable growth over the long-term."
