Ruffer Investment Company Ltd. (RICA.L) Wednesday reported increased pre-tax profit in fiscal 2025 compared to last year, driven by higher income.
Further, the company has declared a second interim dividend of 3.35 pence, higher than prior year's 3.1 pence. The dividend will be paid on October 24 to shareholders on record at October 10.
In fiscal 2025, the company's profit before tax was 42.87 million pounds, higher than 10.81 million pounds last year.
Ruffer's net profit for the period grew to 41.71 million pounds from 10.17 million pounds in the prior year.
Earnings per share were 12.61 pence, more than the 2.69 pence a year ago.
Revenue profit after the tax declined to 19.10 million pounds from 20.71 million pounds for the comparable period.
Revenue earnings per share were 5.78 pence, higher than 5.48 pence a year ago.
The company's total income rose to 53.61 million pounds from 22.82 million pounds a year earlier.
On the London Stock Exchange, the stock was trading at 291.10 pence, down 0.69 percent.
