Taiwan's consumer price inflation moderated in September to the lowest level in four-and-a-half years, data released by the Directorate General of Budget, Accounting, and Statistics showed on Wednesday.
The consumer price index climbed 1.25 percent year-on-year in September, slower than the 1.60 percent rise in August.
Further, this was the lowest inflation since March 2021, when prices rose 1.22 percent.
