Agrana Beteiligungs Q2 Profit Up; Lifts FY Group EBIT Outlook

Agrana Beteiligungs AG (AGB2.F,AGB2.DE) Thursday said that its second-quarter profit increased from a year ago, helped by a strong performance of the Food & Beverage Solutions segment. The company also lifted its EBIT outlook for the year ahead by 10 percent-50 percent.

The company, which processes agricultural raw materials, reported profit of 9.1 million euros in the second quarter, higher than last year's 7.4 million euros.

Operating profit or EBIT came in at 22.3 million euros in the second quarter, down from 24.3 million euros in the same period a year ago. During the three-month period, revenue declined to 811.4 million euros from 917.4 million euros in the second quarter last year.

According to Agrana Beteiligungs, EBITDA climbed to 53.7 million euros in the second quarter from 51.8 million euros in the prior-year period.

Looking ahead, the company lifted its full-year outlook and expects a 10 percent to 50 percent growth in Group EBIT. For fiscal 2025/26, the company now projects EBIT between 45 million euros and 60 million euros.

On the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the stock is up 1.23 percent on Thursday's trading at 12.35 euros.
