Volution FY25 Profit Down, Lifts Dividend, Says Confident Of FY26; Stock Climbs

Volution Group Plc (FAN.L), a manufacturer of energy-efficient indoor air quality solutions, Thursday reported a decline in fiscal 2025 pre-tax profit, though revenue was higher. Further, the company lifted dividend.

Looking ahead, Ronnie George, Chief Executive Officer, said, "The new year has started well, with continuing organic revenue growth complemented by the inorganic revenue benefit from the Fantech acquisition. Notwithstanding the still difficult economic backdrop in many of our end markets, we remain confident of continuing to deliver compounding growth and another year of good progress."

On the London Stock Exchange, the shares were trading at 683 pence, up 5.24 percent.

In fiscal 2025, the company's profit before taxation came down 3.7 percent to 54.48 million pounds from 56.57 million pounds last year.

The earnings per share were 20.7 pence, lower than 21.4 pence a year ago.

Adjusted profit before tax rose 18.7 percent to 83.9 million pounds from 70.7 million pounds the earlier year.

Adjusted basic earnings per share were 33.1 pence, compared to 28 pence a year ago.

Operating profit was 67.21 million pounds, lower than 70.36 million pounds in the prior year period.

Adjusted operating profit increased 19.7 percent to 93.4 million pounds from 78 million pounds in the comparable period last year.

The company's revenue rose 20.6 percent to 419.11 million pounds from 347.61 million pounds a earlier year.

Further, Volution said the board is proposing a final dividend of 7.4 pence per share, higher than 6.20 pence last year, which will be paid on December 16, to shareholders on the register at the close of business on November 21.

The total dividend for the year would be 10.8 pence per share, a growth of 20 percent from last year's 9 pence per share.
