Atalaya Mining Copper, SA (ATYM.L), a Spanish copper miner, on Tuesday reported a rise in copper output for the third quarter.

Alberto Lavandeira, CEO of Atalaya Mining, said: "Production for the third quarter was consistent with our full-year outlook and benefitted from strong plant availability. Cost performance is trending favourably compared to our guidance ranges, and combined with strong copper prices, our balance sheet continues to strengthen."

For the third quarter, the miner posted copper production of 12123 tons, higher than 11901 tons in the same period last year. Copper recovery, however, slipped to 74.45% from the prior year's 84.35%.

Ore processed was 4.3 million tons, compared with 4.3 million tons in 2024. Ore mined stood at 3.7 million tons as against 4.2 million tons a year ago.

Looking ahead, for the full year, the miner still expects copper output of 49000 tons to 52000 tons.
