MBB SE (MBB.DE), a German engineering services company, on Tuesday reported a rise in preliminary adjusted EBITDA and revenue for the third quarter.
For the third quarter, the firm recorded adjusted EBITDA of €67.4 million, higher than €37.4 million in the same period last year. Revenue also rose by 6.5% to €316.8 million.
Excluding items, EBITDA margin thus increased significantly by 8.7 percentage points to an estimated 21.2%. This is due to the strong operating performance at Friedrich Vorwerk and DTS.
Looking ahead, MBB has revised up its annual guidance. MBB now expects full-year adjusted EBITDA margin of 15% to 17% against the earlier outlook of 11% to 14%.
The company now anticipates annual revenue of €1.1 billion to €1.2 billion, higher than the prior expectation of €1 billion to €1.1 billion.
The company will release its third-quarter earnings report on November 13.
