Miley Cyrus has announced an original song, "Dream As One," as part of the soundtrack for the third Avatar movie, Avatar: Fire And Ash.
"Dream As One," a collaboration featuring Cyrus, Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson and Simon Franglen, is due to be released on November 14.
The latest movie in James Cameron's science fiction franchise is set for theatrical release on December 19.
In a brief post on social media, Cyrus said the song was partly inspired by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. It was accompanied by a snippet of the track.
"Honored to support Avatar: Fire and Ash with an original song I've written with Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt," Cyrus wrote.
"Having been personally affected by fire and being rebuilt from the ashes, this project holds profound meaning for me. Thank you, Jim, for the opportunity to turn that experience into musical medicine," she added. "The film's themes of unity, healing, and love resonate deeply within my soul, and to be even a small star in the universe the Avatar family has created is truly a dream come true."
Cyrus lost the home she shared with then-husband Liam Hemsworth in the Woolsey Fire in Malibu in 2018.
