Kontron AG (KOTFY.PK,KOTRF.PK,KTN.DE) reported that its preliminary EBITDA for the first nine months of 2025 surged by 37% to 194 million euros, from 141 million euros in 2024. This increase included a one-off gain of approximately EUR 46 million resulting from the deconsolidation of the COM business. On an operating basis, EBITDA reached 148 million euros for the nine-month period.
Revenue for the period totaled 1.182 billion euros, slightly down from 1.208 billion euros in the same period last year, reflecting the strategic discontinuation of the COM business.
Looking ahead, Kontron expects full-year 2025 revenue to be approximately 1.7 billion euros, revised down from the previous estimate of 1.8 billion euros due to the portfolio shift toward higher-margin businesses. EBITDA guidance remains unchanged at 270 million euros, comprising 220 million euros in operating EBITDA and 46 million euros in anticipated one-off income from the portfolio adjustment.
Kontron will release its full financial results for the first nine months of 2025 on November 5.
