S-Oil Corporation (010950.KS), a South Korean petroleum and refinery company, on Monday reported a net profit for the third quarter. For the three-month period, the company recorded a net profit of KRW 63.2 billion, compared with a net loss of KRW 206.2 billion in the same period last year.
Operating income stood at KRW 229.2 billion as against the prior year's loss of KRW 414.9 billion, helped by favorable fuel and lube spreads. Revenue was KRW 8.415 trillion, down from the previous year's KRW 8.840 trillion.
