Howden Joinery Group Year-to-Date Group Sales Rise 3%; Stock Down

Howden Joinery Group Plc (HWDN.L), a British trade kitchen supplier, Thursday said in its latest trading update after the half-year results that its year-to-date group sales rose 3 percent from the same period last year. On a same depot basis, the year-to-date group sales growth was 1.7 percent.

On the LSE, HWDN.L is down 3.62 percent on Thursday's trading at 839.50 pence.

The company said that year-to-date International group sales rose 14.7 percent from a year ago, and 9.3 percent on a same depot basis, helped by good performance of its in-stock, trade model in all countries.

Howden Joinery Group said that UK year-to-date group sales grew 2.7 percent, while on a same depot basis, the growth was 1.4 percent.

Looking ahead, the company said that it is on track with the fiscal 2025 outlook and expect to deliver group pre-tax profit in line with current market view of 331 million pounds.
