German defence technology company HENSOLDT AG (HAG.DE) on Friday reported a decrease in net loss for the first nine months of 2025, mainly driven by higher sales and reduced income tax expenses.

Net loss narrowed to €30 million or €0.26 per share, from a loss of €46 million or €0.40 per share in the prior-year period.

The company posted a loss before income taxes of €29 million, higher than a loss of €8 million in the same period of 2024, primarily due to lower interest income and higher interest expense.

Earnings before interest and taxes, or EBIT improved to €48 million, from €41 million a year earlier.

Sales rose 11.5% to €1.536 billion, compared with €1.377 billion in the same period last year.
