Stratec SE (SBS.DE), an automated analyzer systems designer and manufacturer, reported a surge in earnings per share for the third quarter, while on an adjusted basis, earnings were down from the last year.
The company reported earnings per share of 0.13 euros, up 116.67 percent from 0.06 euros a year ago.
Quarterly adjusted profit declined by 24.9 percent to 2.13 million euros from 2.83 million euros in the prior year.
On a per share basis, adjusted earnings were down by 26.1 percent to 0.17 euros from 0.23 euros a year ago.
For the comparable period, adjusted EBITDA was down 8.2 percent to 8.17 million euros from 9.20 million euros the prior year. Stratec's sales were 57 million euros, lower than last year's sales of 60.27 million euros.
On Germany's XETRA, shares were trading 0.48 percent down at 20.55 euros.
