Dole Stock Rises 5% After Reporting Q3 Results

Dole plc (DOLE) is trading 5.37 percent higher at $13.85 on Monday even after reporting a drop in third quarter earnings. A year ago, net income was $14.4 million, or $0.15 per share; this year, it was $5.1 million, or $0.05 per share. $15 million, or $0.16 per share, was the adjusted earnings. From $2.062 billion to $2.279 billion, revenue increased by 10.5 percent.

The stock closed at $13.14 and is now at $13.84 on the New York Stock Exchange. It opened at $13.35 and has moved between $13.26 and $14.37 so far today, with trading volume at 1.0 million versus an average of 1.04 million.

The 52-week range in which DOLE trades is $12.20 to $16.93.
