The Rank Group Plc (RNK.L), a British gambling company, Tuesday said that John H Ott has been named the chair of the company, effective from November 17.
The company said that Ott will take over from Karen Whitworth, who has been serving as the interim chair since October 15. Whitworth will resume her role as both Senior Independent Director and Audit Chair, Rank Group said in an official statement.
According to the company, Ott is a Senior Advisory Partner at Bain & Company, UK, where he has been working since 2006. He is also the founder, investor, and board member of two private ventures, namely, a data and technology services firm and a global fractional ownership business, it added.
On the LSE, RNK.L ended Monday's trading at 113.00 pence, down 0.70 percent.
