Formycon 9-month Net Loss Widens

Formycon AG (FYB.DE), a biotechnology company, Thursday reported wider for nine months compared to last year impacted by weaker revenues.

Formycon's loss for the period widened to 60.4 million euros from a loss of 20.9 million euros last year.

The company's operating loss or EBIT widened to 41.6 million euros from a loss 19.3 million euros a year ago.

The firm's loss before tax fell to 61.3 million euros from a loss of 17.3 million euros for the comparable period last year.

For the nine-month period, EBITDA loss came down to 21.4 million euros from a loss of 17.7 million euros the earlier year.

For the latest period, adjusted EBITDA was a loss of 21.7 million euros from a profit of 2.9 million euros.

The firm's revenue declined to 19.5 million euros from 41.1 million euros the prior year.

Looking ahead, the firm reported guidance for the full year 2025. EBITDA and adjusted EBITDA are estimated to be in the range of -20 and -10 million euros. Revenue is between 55-65 million euros.

On XETRA in Germany, shares closed on Wednesday's regular trading 0.70% higher at 21.60 euros.
