The Cicor Group (CICN.SW) announced on Monday that it has secured important new Aerospace & Defence or A&D orders, thus raising its year-to-date book-to-bill ratio to 1.09 as of October from 1.04 in September. The company added that it has also completed the takeover of Valtronic's production sites in Berrechid, Morocco, and Cleveland, Ohio.

On the Swiss Exchange, CICN.SW is trading up 4.84 percent at 184.00 Swiss Francs.

The company, which offers electronics manufacturing solutions, said that it has secured around 40 million Swiss francs worth new A&D contracts in October, as a result of strong program activity and demand across its European locations. The company confirmed that its outlook for the year ahead remains unchanged.

According to the Cicor Group, the acquired Valtronic sites, which manufacture medical and diagnostic devices, will add around 220 employees and are expected to contribute at least 20 million francs in annual sales, thus making no significant impact on Cicor's balance sheet or EBITDA margin.

The company said that the Cleveland site gives Cicor its first US production facility, thus supporting the North American customers' demand for domestic manufacturing. In Morocco, integrating the Valtronic site will double the local production capacity and also support increasing customer demand from fiscal 2026 onward, Cicor added.
