Bodycote PLC (BOY.L), a provider of specialist thermal processing services, said on Tuesday that it recorded an improved momentum in mixed markets for the four-month period to October 31.
Further, the company noted that it continues to expect to deliver stronger earnings performance for the second half than the first half of this fiscal year. This is due to the additional growth in Aerospace and Defence, improved Specialist Technologies trading, and increased benefits from the Optimise programme.
As a result, for the second half, the company anticipates adjusted operating profit to be ahead of the first half and broadly similar to the GBP 62.2 million recorded for the second half of last year.
