Black Sesame Intl. Holding Ltd. (2533.HK), a semiconductor company, Wednesday announced that it entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Zhichi Zhiyuan Holding Co., Ltd.
As part of the agreement, both companies will coordinate in various areas, such as applications of optical communication technology in automobiles and embodied smart terminals, intelligent driving in automobiles, advanced packaging technologies and supply chain capital.
The strategic deal with Zhichi Zhiyuan will enable Black Sesame to continuously launch high-performance product solutions and gain greater market share in the L2 and above assisted driving market.
Also, the deal will accelerate the productization and commercialization of the Black Sesame's core technologies, as well as allow collaboration with optical communication modules maker to develop forward looking technologies to meet future scenario needs.
On the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Black Sesame's shares were trading 2.38% or 0.560 cents lower at HK$22.940.
