Andritz AG (AZ2.DE,ANDR.VI), an Austrian provider of plants, equipment, and services for industries, Friday announced that it received a contract from Fapajal Papermaking S.A., a Portuguese tissue producer.
The contract is for the supply of PrimeLineTM tissue production line for its mill in São Julião do Tojal.
Andritz stated that the value of the order, which is included in the company's third-quarter order intake, will not be disclosed.
The supply comprises the main equipment for stock preparation, a PrimeLineTM tissue machine with a speed of 1,800 m/min and a width of 2.75 meters, and a PrimePress shoe press for improved bulk and softness. The firm will also provide a steel Yankee, automation and electrification systems as well as basic and detailed engineering services.
The production line will have an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes, which will support Fapajal's strategic growth in the tissue market.
On Vienna exchange, Andritz's shares were trading 1.45% lower at 61.35 euros.
