Revenue rose 25 percent to $244.4 million from $196.0 million last year. The company posted a net loss of $8.3 million, compared with net income of $29.1 million a year ago.
GitLab is trading at $37.20 versus a previous close of $43.37 on the Nasdaq. The stock opened at $38.75 and has traded between $35.81 and $38.80 so far today, with volume at 13.85 million shares.
The company's 52-week range is $35.81 to $74.18.
