Sword Group SE (SWP.PA), an IT company, Thursday said that it has been selected to be part of an ATOS-led consortium under the European Commission's DG DIGIT FREIA Lot 1 - Technical Operations Services framework.
The framework has an estimated value of 300 million euros, with the Sword Group expected to contribute around 10 percent to 15 percent of the total revenue. Launched under the CLOUD II Dynamic Purchasing System, the FREIA framework supports European Union institutions and agencies by providing high-value services in cybersecurity, cloud, and information systems, the company added.
Within the consortium, Sword Group said that it will deliver expertise in cybersecurity operations, secure cloud services, and mission-critical IT support, thus helping European Union institutions strengthen operational resilience and address evolving cyber threats.
Commenting on the developments, Dieter ROGIERS, Chief Executive Officer, Sword Benelux, said, "This selection reflects the European Commission's confidence in the technical excellence, reliability, and cybersecurity expertise that Sword brings to large-scale, mission-critical environments. We are proud to support DG DIGIT in strengthening the security and resilience of European digital infrastructures."
On the Paris Exchange, SWP.PA is down 0.71 percent on Thursday's trading at 35.10 euros.
