IGO Limited (IGO.AX) announced that Chemical Grade Plant 3 (CGP3) at the Greenbushes lithium mining and processing operation in Western Australia has commenced commissioning on schedule, with first ore feed through the plant on 18 December 2025.
CGP3 has a production capacity of approximately 500,000 tonnes per annum of spodumene concentrate. The plant represents a key component of the Greenbushes growth strategy, increasing the site's total capacity to approximately 2.1 million tonnes of spodumene concentrate.
The company said it will provide further details on CGP3 and its contribution to growth in its second quarter 2026 results, scheduled for release on 29 January 2026.
