The Rank Group Plc (RNK.L) said on Monday that its Spanish businesses, Enracha and Yo, were the victims of a payment fraud totaling approximately 7.1 million euros.
The UK-based gambling company said that it has reported the incident to the relevant law enforcement authorities and is cooperating fully with their investigations, while also conducting its own internal review with the support of an external law firm.
Due to the exceptional nature of the incident, Rank Group said that it will include the financial impact as a Separately Disclosed Item in its fiscal 2025/26 results.
On the LSE, RNK.L ended Friday's trading at 105.40 pence.
