Digia Oyj (DIGIA.HE) Tuesday said that it has signed a 3.9 million euros development deal with a client from the financial sector for modernizing their main digital services. The company added that the three-year agreement will carry forward the partnership where Digia earlier worked to develop the client's digital business with a modern team as a service model.
According to the Finnish IT services company, the agreement includes work on modernizing key digital services for the financial and insurance client, enhancing service usability and security, and speeding up the delivery of development projects.
Commenting on the developments, Maria Hintikka, Digia's Vice President, Digital Experience, said, "Our team participates in the development of both the customer's end-user services and internal systems. The customer has access to the expertise they need flexibly and cost-effectively to support their own team. Next, we will focus especially on streamlining digital customer paths and improving the accessibility of services. We will also strengthen data-driven development. In the financial sector, the functionality, security, and informativeness of services play a critical role."
On the Helsinki Exchange, DIGIA.HE ended Monday's trading at 6.28 euros, down 0.06 euros or 0.95 percent.
