CapitaLand India Data Centre Fund To Buy 20.2% Stake In 3 Data Centres For S$99.73 Mln

CapitaLand Investment Limited (9CI.SI,CLILF), a Singaporean real asset manager, said on Wednesday that it has raised around S$150 million equity in the first close of its CapitaLand India Data Centre Fund, or CIDCF.

The fund is targeting a final close of around S$300 million. With the first close, CIDCF will acquire a 20.2% interest in each of the three data centers, from CapitaLand India Trust, or CLINT, for an estimated S$99.73 million.

In addition, CIDCF will have right of first offer on acquiring an interest in CLINT's fourth data centre in Bangalore, CapitaLand DC Bangalore. CIDCF is focused on data centre development opportunities in India.
