GomSpace Secures EUR 2.9 Mln Contract For Lunar Exploration Mission; Stock Up 4%

GomSpace Group AB (GOMX.ST) Friday said that GomSpace Luxembourg has been selected by a North American space company for a lunar exploration mission. The mission includes advancing solar system research and exploring the potential of small satellites for deep-space exploration.

On the Stockholm Exchange, GOMX.ST is up 3.9 percent on Friday's trading at 19.90 Swedish Kroner.

As per the terms of the contract, GomSpace, which develops satellite products and solutions, will carry out the initial design of two advanced spacecraft, based on technologies and experience from previous interplanetary missions like ESA's HERA/Juventas and RAMSES.

GomSpace said that the initial design contract is of 2.9 million euros or 31.7 million Swedish Kroner and will be executed in the first half of 2026. A major part of the work will be done in Luxembourg itself, the company added.
