Roivant Reports Positive Data From Phase 2 Study Of Brepocitinib In Cutaneous Sarcoidosis; Stock Up

Roivant Sciences Ltd. (ROIV) on Friday reported positive results from the Phase 2 study of brepocitinib in cutaneous sarcoidosis (CS).

In the study, brepocitinib significantly improved disease activity, achieving a 22.3-point improvement in mean Cutaneous Sarcoidosis Activity and Morphology Instrument - Activity (CSAMI-A) score at Week 16, compared with a 0.7-point improvement with placebo. The treatment showed rapid and sustained improvements across other efficacy measures with a consistent safety profile.

Following the announcement, Roivant shares rose more than 15% in pre-market trading.

The company said Priovant plans to advance brepocitinib in cutaneous sarcoidosis to a Phase 3 pivotal program in 2026. Topline data from the Phase 3 trial of brepocitinib in non-infectious uveitis (NIU) are expected in the second half of 2026.

Roivant also outlined additional upcoming milestones across its subsidiaries. Immunovant expects topline data in the second half of 2026 from trials of IMVT-1402 in difficult-to-treat rheumatoid arthritis and cutaneous lupus erythematosus, as well as Phase 3 data for batoclimab in thyroid eye disease in the first half of 2026. Pulmovant expects topline results from a Phase 2 trial of mosliciguat in pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease in the second half of 2026.

As of December 31, 2025, Roivant reported consolidated cash, cash equivalents, restricted cash and marketable securities of approximately $4.5 billion.

Roivant shares closed 2.36% lower at $21.14 on Thursday.
