Kjell Group AB (KJELL.ST), a Swedish provider of consumer electronics accessories, reported Tuesday a loss in the fourth quarter, compared to prior year's profit, with weak net sales.
In the fourth quarter, the company's net loss was 2.0 million Swedish kronor, compared to prior year's profit of 16.0 million kronor. Loss per share amounted to 0.03 krona, compared to profit of 0.51 krona a year earlier.
The company's operating loss amounted to 6.2 million kronor, compared to profit of 19.9 million kronor last year. Operating margin was negative 0.9%, compared to positive 2.6 percent a year ago.
Adjusted EBITA totalled 37.8 million kronor, higher than 33.3 million kronor last year. Adjusted EBITA margin was 5.4%, up from 4.3% a year ago.
Net sales for the quarter decreased 9.9% to 697.2 million kronor from prior year's 773.4 million kronor. Comparable net sales fell 9.4%.
