Hexagon Purus Q4 Loss Narrows, Revenue Up 18%

Hexagon Purus ASA (HPUR.OL) Tuesday said that its loss narrowed in the fourth quarter, helped by higher revenue from the transit bus and aerospace applications. Looking ahead, the company said that it is cautiously optimistic about fiscal 2026.

The company, which manufactures energy storage solutions, posted fourth-quarter net loss of 507.87 million Norwegian Kroner or 1.16 Kroner per share, compared to net loss of 667.17 million Kroner or 1.37 Kroner per share in the same period last year.

During the three-month period, pre-tax loss came in at 510.02 million Kroner, compared to pre-tax loss of 669.57 million Kroner in the previous year period.

According to Hexagon Purus, revenue rose 18 percent in the fourth quarter to touch 468.05 million Kroner from 396.30 million Kroner in the year-ago period, helped by higher revenue for transit bus and aerospace applications, along with a strong demand for hydrogen infrastructure applications.

EBITDA for the quarter came in at -99.48 million Kroner, compared to -103.79 million Kroner in the previous-year quarter.

Looking ahead, the company said that activity in the first quarter of 2026 is expected to remain strong, though below the level seen in the fourth quarter of 2025, and current sales figures offer cautious optimism for the rest of the year, despite market and regulatory uncertainty.

On the Oslo Exchange, HPUR.OL ended Monday's trading at 1.4120 Norwegian Kroner, down 3.3 percent.
