Episurf Medical Appoints Jens Andersson CEO, Katarina Flodström Deputy CEO

Episurf Medical AB (EPIS-B.ST,EPIS_B.ST) Tuesday revealed a series of leadership changes effective from February 11. Following his election to the Board at the Extraordinary General Meeting on February 10, Jens Andersson will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, or CEO, succeeding Katarina Flodström.

The Swedish medical devices company said that Katarina Flodström has been appointed Deputy CEO and Head of the company's medical technology operations. In addition, Sanja Batljan has been named Chief Financial Officer, replacing Pål Ryfors, who will step down from the company.

Commenting on the developments, Ulf Grunander, Chairman of the Board, Episurf, said, "I am pleased that Jens Andersson and Sanja Batljan, both with significant experiences from the real estate sector, are taking on leading operational roles at Episurf as our transformation continues. I am also pleased that Katarina Flodström will continue to focus on our medical device operations, which are at a very exciting stage. I would like to thank Pål Ryfors for his many years of service and wish him all the best going forward. In summary, these management changes imply that the company is now well positioned for the next phase."

On the Stockholm Exchange, EPIS-B.ST is currently trading at 0.0394 Swedish Kroner.
