Prosafe SE (PRS.OL) Friday announced that it has appointed Halvdan Kielland as the permanent Chief Financial Officer or CFO. He joined Prosafe as Corporate Finance Lead in January 2025 and was appointed Interim CFO in November 2025.
The company, which provides semi-submersible accommodation support service vessels, said that before joining Prosafe, Kielland worked in the investment banking sector, with a focus on energy services and offshore.
Commenting on the appointment, Reese McNeel, CEO of Prosafe, said, "We are pleased to appoint Halvdan as permanent CFO. Since joining Prosafe, he has been an invaluable member of the team, guiding the company through last year's refinancing and helping to reposition the company for future growth and value creation. I look forward to continuing to work closely with Halvdan."
On the Oslo Exchange, PRS.OL ended Thursday's trading at 3.6500 Norwegian Kroner, up 0.41 percent.
