SSP Group Plc (SSPG.L) announced on Thursday that Andrew Martin has been appointed Chair of the Board, effective June 1. Following his appointment, Martin will also take on the role of Chair of the Nomination Committee.
The company, which operates travel food and beverage outlets, said that Martin will take over from Carolyn Bradley, who has served as Interim Chair since the Annual General Meeting or AGM held on January 23. Bradley will continue to serve on the Board as Senior Independent Director.
SSP Group said that Martin is at present, serving as Chair of Intertek Group plc and will step down from that role at the end of May this year after more than five years as Chair and a total of ten years as a Non-Executive Director.
On the LSE, SSPG.L is down 0.47 percent on Thursday's trading at 189.30 pence.
