Forwards have unveiled a slate of co-headliners for Forwards Festival 2026.
Major artists such as Little Simz, Wet Leg, Self Esteem, and Amyl & The Sniffers are returning to Forwards Festival 2026 to take center stage as headline acts. In addition, Maribou State will make an appearance as special guests.
The two-day event will kick off on Saturday August 29 at The Downs in Bristol.
The Saturday session features all female co-headliners, with Grammy Award-winning Nigerian star TEMS, whose soulful, globally resonant sound has made her one of the defining voices of contemporary R&B, alongside U.K. powerhouse Self Esteem and indie trailblazers Wet Leg, both renowned for their bold lyricism and electrifying live performances.
The Sunday show's co-headliners are Mercury Prize-winning rapper and cultural force Little Simz, whose artistry continues to redefine British hip-hop, alongside the explosive Australian punk band Amyl And The Sniffers and acclaimed American singer-songwriter DIJON.
Forwards 2026 music line up also includes Viagra Boys, Oklou, Princess Nokia, Jean Dawson, Jim Legxacy, Gena Ft. Liv.e & Karriem Riggins, Anaiis, Joy Crookes, Tricky, Goldie, and Kraftwerk Re:werk with Charles Hazlewood.
The festival also features a talks program, local food and a wide ranging kids area.
