Country star Chris Young is set to open a new sports bar in Nashville's Midtown district, taking its name from his hit single, "Famous Friends."
Sharing its name with Young's 2021 collaboration with Kane Brown, Famous Friends will be located next door to Tin Roof on Demonbreun. Additional details about the venue, including its grand opening timeline and venue features, will be announced soon.
"I'm very excited for Famous Friends to be open in Nashville! I have been working on this as a passion project for a while now," Young tells Billboard. "A sports bar that will be Nashville famous for a reason. Something completely different where you can bring all your friends for a great time!"
Famous Friends also has its own social pages for fans to follow its progress on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
"Famous Friends" was released on November 20, 2020, as the third single from Young's eighth studio album of the same name. Young wrote and produced the song with Corey Crowder, with additional writing from Cary Barlowe.
Young and Brown took "Famous Friends" to No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart in 2021 and were Billboard's No. 1 Country Airplay single of the year.
