"Saturday Night Live" has announced that former White Stripes frontman Jack White will be the musical guest on the April 4th episode of the show's 51st season. Comedian Jack Black has been named the host.
The show will mark Black's fifth time hosting "SNL," while White will be making his sixth turn as musical guest.
Black last hosted the NBC show on April 5, 2025, when Elton John and Brandi Carlile appeared as musical guests.
"SNL" kicked off its 51st season in October 2025, with hosts and musical guests including Bad Bunny and Doja Cat, Amy Poehler and Role Model and Sabrina Carpenter. Carpenter pulled double duty as both the host and musical guest of her episode.
"SNL" airs Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
