DATAGROUP SE (D6H.DE,D6H0.DE) Wednesday announced the appointment of Niels Ackermann to its Management Board as Chief Financial Officer or CFO, thus setting up an independent CFO role within its leadership structure. Until now, financial responsibilities had been overseen by Chief Executive Officer or CEO Andreas Baresel.
The German IT services company said that Ackermann brings over 25 years of international leadership experience, having held CFO and CEO roles in both private and publicly listed companies. He has investment banking experience with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, along with strong knowledge of capital market transactions, leveraged buyouts, and M&A processes.
Commenting on the appointment, Max H.-H. Schaber, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DATAGROUP SE, said, "With Niels Ackermann DATAGROUP wins a very experienced finance expert. His international CFO experience, his deeper understanding of financing and M&A topics as well as his track record in building high-growth organizations will play a crucial role in the further development of DATAGROUP."
On the XETRA Exchange, D6H.DE is currently trading at 73.70 euros, down 0.70 euros or 0.94 percent.
