Trimble Inc.(TRMB), a software, hardware, and technology services company, said on Thursday that it has inked a deal to acquire Document Crunch, a construction-specific AI document analysis and risk management platform, for an undisclosed sum.

Post-transaction, Document Crunch will identify and neutralize project risks such as payment disputes and notification failures for Trimble.

"The acquisition will allow Trimble to incorporate document intelligence and compliance automation across the Trimble Construction ecosystem, enhancing existing workflows in project management and construction ERP systems," the company said.

The transaction, anticipated to close in the second quarter of 2026, is not expected to have a material impact on 2026 financial guidance of the acquirer.

Document Crunch will be reported as part of Trimble's AECO segment.
