Atalaya Mining Copper, S.A. (ATYM.L), Tuesday announced operations update for the first quarter of 2026.
Ore mined was 3.4 million tonnes for the quarter, down from 3.7 million tonnes in the prior year. Meanwhile, Copper production was 9,939 tonnes compared with 14,291 tonnes last year. The company stated that the production was impacted by unusually heavy rains during the period.
Looking ahead, the company expects ore mined of 15.5-16.0 million tonnes and copper production of 50,000-54,000 tonnes for the full year 2026.
Atalaya's stock closed at 809.00 pence, up 0.43 percent on the London Stock Exchange.
