The stock is currently trading at $22.97, up $3.01 or 15.11%, on the Nasdaq. It opened at $21.44 after closing the previous session at $19.95. The stock has traded between $8.00 and $43.98 over the past 52 weeks.
The acquisition adds a key rare earth operation in Brazil, positioning the company as a major global supplier outside Asia.
Serra Verde is expected to generate $550 million to 650 million in annual EBITDA by 2027, strengthening long-term growth prospects.
