Ibstock Plc (IBST.L) said on Tuesday that it has appointed Will Wilkins as the Chief Financial Officer or CFO and Executive Director, effective August 1, 2026.

The British clay bricks manufacturer said that Wilkins will join from Mpac Group Plc, where he has served as CFO since 2018, following several finance roles within the company. Before Mpac, he held senior financial positions at BSH Home Appliances, it added.

According to Ibstock Plc, the appointment follows a comprehensive CFO search process conducted by the Nomination Committee with the support of external advisers. Simon Bedford will remain as Interim Chief Financial Officer until Wilkins assumes the role, the company said in an official statement.

Commenting on the appointment, Joe Hudson, Chief Executive Officer of Ibstock, said, "On behalf of the Board, I am delighted to welcome Will to Ibstock to support the continued delivery of our strategy. He brings considerable experience in finance and operations in a listed manufacturing company environment and will be a great complement to our Board and Executive team. I would also like to thank Simon for his important contribution as Interim CFO since his appointment in October 2025."

On the LSE, IBST.L ended Monday's trading at 107.00 pence, down 6.60 pence or 5.81 percent.
