GS Engineering & Construction Corporation (006360.KS) reported first-quarter results with lower profit and revenue, while operating profit and pre-tax profit increased.
Net income from continuing operation before income tax rose to 63.699 billion won from 42.520 billion won in the same period last year.
Operating income increased to 73.468 billion won, compared with 70.377 billion won a year earlier.
Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company fell to 55 million won from 28.369 billion won in the prior-year period.
Sales dropped to 2.4005 trillion won from 3.0629 trillion won last year.
