Netherlands-headquartered engineering and construction business Arcadis NV (ARCAY) on Thursday reported lower net revenues and higher EBITDA for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026.
EBITDA increased to 112 million euros in the first quarter from 111 million euros in the first quarter of the previous year.
Net revenue for the first quarter ended March 2026 stood at 933 million euros, declining 4 percent from 972 million euros in the prior-year period. Year-on-year basis organic growth however recorded 0.8 percent.
Order intake was strong at 1.109 billion euros versus 1.079 billion euros in the first quarter of 2025.Organic growth in order intake recorded 7.3 percent.
Being a transition year focused on repositioning the business, Arcadis has retained the guidance for 2026. During the year, the company expects organic net revenue growth to be flat and the operating EBITA margin to be between 11.7 percent and 12 percent.
