Wizz Air Holdings Plc (WIZZ.L) on Tuesday reported strong traffic growth in April 2026, driven by a significant increase in capacity, although load factors edged lower compared to last year.
Passenger traffic rose 21.9% year-on-year to 6.633 million, while capacity increased 23.1% to 7.458 million seats.
The load factor slipped to 88.9% from 89.8%.
For the rolling 12-month period, passenger numbers grew 11% to 70.940 million, with capacity up 11.6% to 78.280 million seats. The load factor declined slightly to 90.6% from 91.1% in the prior period.
